Les régions, les villes et les citoyens du monde sont au coeur de la réponse au changement climatique tant du point de vue de sa réduction que de notre adaptation à ce changement.

C’est en agissant à l’échelle locale et régionale que la contribution aux objectifs mondiaux sera la plus impactante. La mobilisation des élus locaux, des entreprises et des citoyens, l’intégration de l’action des territoires subnationaux doivent être prises en compte dans les accords à l’issue de la COP 21.

Dans le prolongement de notre conférence internationale du 13 avril, l’ARENE, en partenariat avec la FEDARENE (Fédération européenne des agences et régions pour l’énergie et l’environnement), le Comité européen des Régions et Île-de-France Europe, vous invitent à une journée d’échanges internationale à la Halle Pajol à Paris.

Une table ronde réunira un panel d’acteurs internationaux agissant aussi bien au niveau local qu’au niveau global.

Huit ateliers l’après-midi nous inviteront à analyser des initiatives locales internationales remarquables qui contribuent à la lutte contre le changement climatique, à l’économie des ressources locales et au développement des énergies renouvelables.

En mettant en lumière, à travers ces initiatives, les types d’acteurs, les facteurs de réussite et les freins nous envisagerons la reproductibilité des actions locales et leur contribution aux objectifs mondiaux de lutte contre le changement climatique.

Regions, cities and citizens of the world are at the heart of the response to climate change, both for climate change mitigation and adaptation. It is by acting locally and regionally that the contribution to global goals will be most impactful. The mobilization of local elected officials, businesses and citizens, the integration of the activities of sub-national territories must be taken into account in the agreements resulting from the COP 21.

Following the international conference of 13th of April 2015, ARENE, in partnership with FEDARENE (European Federation of Agencies and Regions for Energy and the Environment), the European Committee of the Regions and ÃŽle-de-France Europe invite you to this day of international discussions at the Halle Pajol in Paris.

A roundtable in the morning will gather a panel of international actors operating at both local and global levels.

In the afternoon, eight workshops will invite us to analyze outstanding international local initiatives that contribute to the fight against climate change, to the local resource economy and the development of renewable energies.

By highlighting, through these initiatives, types of stakeholders, success factors and obstacles, we will consider the replicability of local actions and their contribution to global goals in the fight against climate change.
